On Saturday morning and afternoon, we will host a CME Conference, "Caring for Wisconsin and the World; Today and Tomorrow", at the UW’s Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC).

Caring for Wisconsin and Beyond-Today and Tomorrow

Location: UW Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Avenue, Madison
Keynote talk by David Rakel, MD, informative panel discussions and a sociable lunch/poster session.
Concurrent sessions in three themes using a panel and discussion format:
- Caring for our Patients - including sports medicine, geriatrics
- Community Service - Wisconsin and Beyond
- Education, Research and Leadership in Family Medicine
Each theme will offer a wide variety of interesting topics. You can stay with one theme or make choices from the entire "buffet" of 48 offerings. The interactive program will feature established experts in our field and young family physicians who are blazing new trails in practice. Sixty panelists have been drawn from current and former statewide faculty, residency graduates and other colleagues.
The lunch/poster session will give you a chance to share your work with others. You are invited to bring a poster up to 4' x 8' in size on any topic related to the themes - clinical care, QI, community service, education or whatever is your passion. You will also have ample time at lunch to discuss ideas with panelists.
