Primary Care Faculty Development Program (PCFDP)
The Primary Care Faculty Development Program (PCFDP) offers physicians who teach medical students and residents an excellent opportunity to enhance teaching skills in the areas of technology, doctor-patient communication, evidence-based medicine, quality improvement, managed care leadership, and teaching methods. Sponsored by the Department of Family Medicine, this fellowship program is offered at no cost to participants. View Site
The program is aimed at developing primary care faculty for teaching and leadership roles in community and university-based settings. Physicians will have a variety of learning opportunities to enhance their teaching skills — community outreach workshops, short courses, annual workshops, and the PCFDP fellowship.
