Patients Speak for SBIRT Wisconsin
Patients testify that Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral-to-Treatment (SBIRT) saved their jobs and, in one case, a patient's life. SBIRT is an evidence-based, cost-saving program to help people deal with problem drinking and drug use and other health behaviors. It is being implemented in Wisconsin by the Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles, http://wiphl.org.
