SBIRT Wisconsin Stakeholder Testimonial
Stakeholders from all corners of health care--insurance purchasers and providers, physicians, government agencies, legislators, and patients--speak in favor of Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment, or SBIRT, as a cost-saving, effective program to help people with problem drinking or drug use. It is an evidence-based, preventive program that saves money and lives. The program is being implemented in Wisconsin by the Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles.
