Bucky Badger to attend UW Health Yahara Clinic open house Saturday
MADISON—Bucky Badger will be one of the featured attractions when the public gets a look at the new UW Health Yahara Clinic, 1050 E. Broadway, during an open house Saturday, November 12, from noon to 3 p.m.
A Native American blessing will also be given at 12:30 p.m. by Gerald Cleveland, Garrick Cleveland, Ken WhiteHorse and Jon Thundercloud.
Refreshments will be served, and attendees will have the chance to tour the building and participate in family-friendly activities.
UW Health Yahara Clinic, which combines the resources of UW Health McFarland and UW Health Monona, opened Oct. 31. The 32,000-square-foot building offers x-ray and mammography services, health and nutrition and group classes, physical therapy, and a healing garden.
The clinic is also designed for patient self-rooming to help reduce wait times for patients, decrease exposure to illness, and increase privacy and patient satisfaction.
