UW Health Beaver Dam Opens New Patient-Friendly Clinic
University of Wisconsin Health Beaver Dam opened the doors of their new clinic to patients and community members. Their new and improved clinic location boasts many patient-friendly features:
- Education room for patient teaching
- Library area where patients can look up health information on the Internet
- Meditation room that doubles as a negative pressure room to isolate patients with contagious diseases
Additionally, a privacy phone and a hospitality bar are available for patient use. A conference room with video conference abilities and a larger lab area with two draw stations will help the clinic medical staff provide better patient care. All these features will help make patient visits more relaxing and enjoyable.
"We are excited to welcome our patients into our beautiful new clinic setting," says Clinic Manager Patty Klein. "Our improved surroundings and upgraded features will allow us to better serve our patients, which is always the ultimate goal."
The clinic is located within the new Vita Park Medical Clinic which is next to the new Beaver Dam Hospital on University Avenue. The Vita Park complex also houses other medical care occupants including:
