Fox Valley Welcomes New Faces

Jennifer Ewen Frank, MD joined the Fox Valley Program on July 17, 2006 as assistant professor and clinic medical director. She grew up in Maryland and received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. After completing a family medicine residency at DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia in 2002, she was stationed at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. Her experiences include:

  • Practicing full-spectrum family medicine
  • Serving on the family medicine residency faculty
  • Acting as the chief of the family medicine residency clinic
  • Being the hospital champion for the electronic health record

Her passions include providing outstanding, personalized patient care based on a physician-patient team concept as well as teaching and helping to develop the next generation of family physicians. Her interests include evidence-based medicine, obstetrical care, medical informatics, and practice management.

Kathy Seymer, BSN has joined the Fox Valley Program as Clinic Manager. A native of Appleton, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has worked in the health care industry for over 26 years. She has a diverse clinical background having worked as an RN in multiple specialty areas at UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison. She has health care management experience in family medicine, immediate care and home care. Ms. Seymer worked at two large healthcare systems in northeast Wisconsin conducting studies in quality improvement and physician/hospital cost and utilization management. She is responsible for clinic operations and service continuity and will also be involved in resident training.
