InfoRetriever for 2005
Through a joint effort of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health and the DFM, funds were provided to renew the institutional subscription for InfoRetriever. For those of you not acquainted with this point of care tool, it provides evidence-based medical reference information, clinical calculators and prediction tools, ICD-9 lookup, and can be downloaded to a PDA or accessed through a desktop computer. In addition, a daily POEM (Patient Oriented Evidence that Matters) can be sent to an individual's email account.
The renewal process requires existing users to re-register. Please contact Janet Reschke, janet.reschke@fammed.wisc.edu, for details on renewal, to receive the 2005 username/password, or to obtain information on installing InfoRetriever. You can also get more information about the product at www.infopoems.com.
