Although the 2004 DFM Statewide Meeting just recently took place in December, we are already busy planning for the 2005 meeting - hold your calendar for Thursday, September 29 and Friday morning, September 30 in Madison, and watch for further details.

In January, our planning group reviewed survey results from the December 2, 2004 meeting held at the Marriott West in Madison:

  • 88% said the quality and content of the overall conference was Very Good or Excellent, with an additional 12% responding that it was Good.

  • 90% said the usefulness of the session topics was Very Good or Excellent, with an additional 10% responding that it was Good.

  • 78.4% said the convenience of the meeting location was Very Good or Excellent, with an additional 21.6% responding that it was Good.

  • 35.3% said the conference facilities were Very Good or Excellent, with an additional 37.3% responding that they were Good.

  • 86% said the overall organization of the conference was Very Good or Excellent, with an additional 14% responding that it was Good.

In addition, we reviewed many comments from meeting participants about what was especially liked about the December meeting, and suggestions for improving future meetings--our thanks to all who participated in the survey! Your feedback has been very helpful!

Currently in anticipation of the 2005 meeting, dates and facility availability have been explored and are being finalized, and ideas for meeting activities are being reviewed, along with other necessary preliminary planning--watch for further details. We are looking forward to another successful and well-attended meeting.
