Good-bye "Blues"
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has transitioned to a new electronic system for payroll earning statements. This new system replaces the blue paper statements we received in the past, and allows us to access our own payroll information electronically at any time and any place. /p>
The University no longer prints the blue earning statements:
- For individuals who receive a monthly payroll check (Academic Staff, Faculty, and Residents), this began with the May payroll, payable on June 1.
- For individuals who receive a bi-weekly payroll check (Classified Staff, Project Hourly, and LTE's), this began with the May B payroll, payable on June 8th.
There is no need to sing the "Blues." Simply go to the University's home web page located at http://www.wisc.edu. Then look on the right-hand side of the page and click on My UW. This is a web page to Bookmark or to save as Favorites.
First you need to go through the initial activation of your NetID. After that, any time you go into this site, type in your assigned NetID and the password you've established to bring up your UW page. Your name will appear in the upper right hand corner. On your UW page, you will see several tabs:
- Click on the tab labeled Work Record.
- This will take you to another page where you will see pay dates in a window to the left.
- Click on any date of interest to open a window that shows your actual earning statement.
When you are finished, always remember to logout from the pages you have opened and close your browser.
