New Sun Prairie Clinic Opens
A patient's comfort was one of the important considerations behind the newly built UW Health Sun Prairie Family Medicine Clinic. In addition to state-of-the-art design, the clinic, which opened on Monday, June 30, also offers privacy and efficient flow.
"We want patients to see our clinic as a safe and comforting place," said Clinic Manager Cynthia Haase. "We've worked hard to make that a top priority."
The beautiful 16,000 square-foot clinic, located in a new community development on Highway C and 19, offers the space needed to accommodate Sun Prairie's growing population. Natural light was maximized and soothing colors utilized not only for the patients but for the well-being of the staff and providers also. "Other simple things like eliminating ringing phones in registration areas will not only bring down noise levels but will make registering quicker and easier for everyone," said Haase.
The new clinic also offers a hospitality area where patients can enjoy coffee or tea and a patient library with access to medical brochures, books and the internet. The location of the new clinic also offers easy access to surrounding pharmacies, restaurants and banking opportunities for patients.
In all, the new Sun Prairie Clinic will satisfy patients that desire a team-based approach to quality health care. "Our dedicated staff understands that little touches make a big difference," said Haase.
