Welcome to the Primary Care: Family Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatric Clerkship (PCC). During this eight-week rotation, you will have the opportunity to experience the variety of patient encounters found in primary care. While most of the clinical rotations in the third year occur in the hospital setting, the PCC is situated in the community where most primary health care is delivered.

The field of primary care is vast and this clerkship is meant to serve only as an introduction. On behalf of our faculty, staff and community preceptors throughout the state, we welcome your participation in the PCC. Enjoy your experience as a member of a primary health care team.
