Dear PCC Preceptor,
Key Task: Give Yourself a Hand!
I would like to sincerely thank you for your contribution to our students' growth and training. The Primary Care Clerkship greatly relies on our 300+ preceptors for the great majority of the student teaching; your time together is both the best and the most remembered part of the course.
It is my fondest hope that at the end of this experience, your student will say, “I really felt like I made a difference for some patients.” Of all of their M3 clerkships, I believe the PCC offers students the greatest opportunity to cultivate their sense of both the responsibility and the joy of the profession they have chosen.
What's Going on: Exams Thursday and Friday
Reminders: Timely return of evaluation forms
See Preceptor Evaluation Form [1].
Again, please turn these in as soon as possible. Thank you!
Resources: Faculty Appointment
Your teaching contribution in the clerkship qualifies you for a UWSMPH volunteer faculty appointment. If you are new to teaching in the PCC or, if your volunteer faculty appointment has relapsed, your name will be automatically forwarded to Christie Legler who will, in turn, contact you with more details. Among other benefits, the faculty appointment entitles you to use of the medical school library, PDA resources.
Once again, thank you for your contribution.
