Bring Awareness to Produce Real Change: A Unified Statewide Strategy for Reducing and Preventing Risky Alcohol Use in Wisconsin
DFM Key Personnel
Rich Brown, MD - Principal Investigator
Funding
Wisconsin Partnership Project
Summary of Project
Building on an established collaborative framework currently in progress in the State, this project takes the next steps to support a unified strategy for reducing and preventing risky alcohol by engaging in activities to shift the social norms that condone excess drinking. Statewide partners will determine and highlight the economic costs of excessive alcohol consumption by creating a "burden of alcohol" report with local and statewide data.
