Edmond Ramly, PhD, MS

Edmond Ramly, PhD is Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and Affiliate Faculty in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. His draws on Human Factors Engineering to advance Implementation Science and integration of evidence-based practices into routine workflows to improve population health in outpatient settings. His work seeks to balance between standardization and adaptation to local context. His research has included the design, implementation, and scale up of the BP Connect and Quit Connect interventions to prevent cardiovascular disease. He is currently studying the consequences of rapid telehealth expansion on how evidence-based practices are implemented. Dr. Ramly chairs the Macroergonomics Technical Group of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and has co-authored an AHRQ/NSF federal report on the intersection of industrial and systems engineering and health care.
