Focus on Inside DFM Website
The web team wants to hear from you. We are conducting a spring round of web focus groups and hope to receive feedback from everyone. Since November the new DFM external web site has been live. How is it working for you? What do you use? What do you wish was on-line?
Early this summer we will be launching a fully functional inside DFM web site (http://inside.fammed.wisc.edu). This will be a tool set for employees and members of our Department. We hope it will become a daily part of your work routine. What tools would you like on the inside web site? What resources would help you?
Last fall the web team used a process called charettes to build the DFM external web site. We are applying the same process to the inside site. Charettes are a common method for solving architectural problems, through listening, envisioning and building.
The more participation we have in feedback, and visionary ideas for the site, the better the site will be. The great ideas we received this fall formed the core of our current external site. Please don't hesitate to share. If we miss talking to you in person, please send comments, ideas and feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org.
