She has had experiences across the globe that have shaped her, and continues to travel as much as possible. As a Fulbright Fellow, Briana taught English to university students in Rzeszow, Poland, while immersing herself in the local culture. She conducted a medical research project within Alaskan native populations as the Anne C. As a physician she looks forward to strengthening the health of her community and supporting long-term relationships with patients at both their healthiest and most vulnerable moments. She is an enthusiastic vegetable and herb gardener and loves baking desserts. She keeps active by hiking with her rescue dog Jake; running, and yoga.
