Judy joined the residency officially in 1996, having worked part-time with the program while completing her Master's degree in Latin American and Iberian Studies. As the Associate Education Coordinator for the program, Judy is responsible for all inpatient scheduling. She works closely with residents in the first year, guiding them through first year orientation, the USMLE Step III and licensing process, and coordinating the first year Community Medicine Rotation.

A New York Native, Judy has lived in Madison for many years. She has four grown children spread across the country, only one of whom lives in Madison, and six wonderful grandchildren. An ancient Corgi and a lively tiger cat make up her household. Judy's great loves aside from her family, are music, literature, and gardening. She has studied music throughout her life.
