Eau Claire
The Eau Claire Primary Care Clerkship is a comprehensive clinical experience with Family Physicians, Internists, and Pediatricians in community and rural settings.
Clinical preceptors include physicians from:
- Marshfield Clinic
- Luther-Midelfort (Mayo Health System)
- Oak Leaf Medical Network (independent private physicians)
- Eau Claire Family Medicine Residency faculty and resident physicians
Special experiences and emphases at our site:
- Home visits with Community Health Partnership
- Volunteering at the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic
- Evidence-Based Medicine
- Women's Health
- Rural Medicine
Based at the Eau Claire Family Medicine Residency:
- The family practice center uses an electronic medical record with computers in each exam room and convenient computer access throughout the clinic.
- Faculty have special expertise in office procedures, cardiac disease prevention, primary care research, women's health, and evidence-based medicine.
