Third year

  1. Monjur Alam MD

    Monjur was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his M.B.B.S. degree in 2004 from Rangpur Medical College in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He was a physician in the ER, ICU and Inpatient wards after he graduated. He began his first medical observership in Texas in 2007 and has worked with several different medical clinics since then as an extern. He recently completed a two month externship with Eau Claire Family Medicine Program. He wants to provide quality primary care for the whole family.

    Monjur enjoys the performing arts, news, sports, information and technology, reading, music and different cultures.

  2. Dennis Auth DO

    Dennis attended medical school under Health Professionals Scholarship Program through the Navy and graduated in 2005. Subsequently, he went on active duty with the Navy and completed an Internship in Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Bremerton in Bremerton, WA. After completing his internship, he was transferred to Naval Air Station Pensacola for Flight Surgery Training. After six months of training, Dennis was designated a U.S. Navy Flight Surgeon in June of 2007. He was then assigned to Training Air Wing Five in Milton, FL, as a Squadron Flight Surgeon, and was there from June 2007 to September 2010.

    Dennis is originally from in Pittsburgh, PA, but his wife is from Rice Lake, WI. After four houses in five years they decided to put down some roots in Eau Claire. Dennis and his wife have three small children.

  3. Achal Gupta MD

    Achal was born in India. He graduated from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences in Hubli, India with his M.B.B.S. degree in 2005 He was a medical officer at the Parveen Hospital in Karnal India prior to coming to the United States. He has completed several externships in Texas where he some of his relatives reside. He recently completed a two month externship with the Eau Claire Family Medicine Program.
     
    Achal’s hobbies include playing baseball, cricket, hockey, swimming, and gardening, reading medical journals and working on the computer. He speaks several other languages including: Spanish, Hindi, Kannada, Punjabi, and Urdu.

  4. Natalya Puckett MD

    Natasha was born in Tyumen, Russia. She finished her Internal Medicine residency training and worked as an Internist at the regional hospital. After moving to the United States, Natasha resided in Boston, Massachusetts where she was involved in the Pediatric Anesthesia clinical research at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Her professional interests include Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Preventive Medicine.
     
    Natasha enjoys listening to the classical music, singing, cooking, yoga, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her daughter and friends.

  5. Krissa Schuldt DO

    Krissa is a native from Minnesota and is extremely excited to be returning to the Midwest. She obtained her DO degree from the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME in June 2009. During her training she traveled across the country working in many different health care facilities including her last 2 months here in Eau Claire at the Eau Claire Family Medicine Clinic, and the Sacred Heart ER and Radiology departments.

    She enjoys gardening, reading, walking her giant schnauzer Fen, jogging, spending time with friends and family and experiencing new places and activities.

    Her medical Interests include preventative medicine, patient education, women's health, and manual medicine. She hopes to serve in a small community in the future.

  6. Kirsten Stotz DO

    Kirsten is a Minnesota native. She completed her osteopathic degree from Des Moines University, Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa this past May. Kirsten is married to Michael Stotz. Kirsten completed a rotation at the Eau Claire Family Medicine Clinic last fall.
     
    Kirsten and Michael share many of the same hobbies of spending time with family and friends, being active by watching or participating in a variety of sporting activities. She is an avid Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings fan.
     
    Her medical interests include geriatrics, dermatology, pediatrics and mental health.

  7. Michael Stotz DO - Chief Resident

    Michael is originally from South Dakota. He completed his osteopathic degree from Des Moines University, Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa this past May. He is married to Kirsten Stotz. He has traveled extensively during his medical school years and chose Wisconsin as one of his training sites.
     
    His hobbies include spending time with family and friends, watching and participating in sports and staying physically active. He also enjoys many outdoor activities popular in the Midwest such as hunting and fishing.
     
    He is keeping his medical interests open to all possibilities within the broad scope of family medicine; however current special interests include sports medicine and osteopathic manipulation.

Second year

  1. Vismay Brahmbhatt MD

    Vismay completed his medical training and worked as a general physician in India prior to coming to the United States. He has family in the Midwest which is what drew him to this area.
     
    Vismay enjoys the wide range of clinical experience that only family medicine can offer. His special areas of interest include: health education, sports medicine, and women’s health.
     
    Vismay enjoys music, movies, and playing a variety of sports.

  2. Vince Kazelka MD

    Vince was born in the Ukraine where he was trained and worked as an oncologist and as a researcher. He immigrated to the United States with his wife, who is also a graduate of our residency. He has lived in Eau Claire for the past three years. Vince has been a volunteer at the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic for the past year.
     
    Vince’s medical interests include: preventative medicine, cancer screening, and international medicine
     
    Vince would like to work as a family physician in the Midwest, providing care for the whole family.

  3. Aaron Zivney DO

    Aaron was born in Wisconsin and completed his undergraduate work in LaCrosse. He then went on to medical school in Kirksville, Missouri where he recently graduated with a degree in Osteopathic Medicine.
     
    Aaron is interested in sports medicine and general family practice.
     
    Aaron enjoys playing soccer, wood working, camping, hiking, and spending time with his family.

First year

  1. Maria Carmela A Detubio MD

    Carmela was born in Quezon City, Phillipines. After graduation from medical school, she volunteered in free clinics and medical missions. She did observerships in Los Angeles, California and completed an externship with Eau Claire Family Medicine. Carmela’s interests include internal medicine, geriatrics, and preventive medicine. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, traveling and trying out new restaurants.

  2. Ameet I Karaul MD

    Ameet was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Statistics in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. After completing his degree, he moved to St. Kitts to pursue a career in medicine. It is the broad base of clinical knowledge in Family Medicine that interests Ameet. He is particularly focused on rural medicine and public health. In the future, Ameet would like to have a private primary care practice. Also, Ameet plans to work with various charitable organizations that focus on providing medical care to populations in developing countries. His ultimate goal is to one day be a founder of such an organization. Ameet enjoys many outdoor activities, such as snowboarding, hiking and rollerblading. He also travels as much as he can on his days off.

  3. Sunitha Malla MD

    Sunitha was born in India. She graduated from Andhra Medical College in 2007 before moving to the United States. She has done externships in Michigan and Texas in the areas of family medicine and internal medicine. She recently finished a two month externship with the Eau Claire Family Residency Program. Her professional interests include general family practice, women’s health and public health. Sunitha’s hobbies include reading, cooking and gardening.

  4. Kamaldeep S Manhas MD

    Kamaldeep was born and raised in New Foundland, Canada. Shortly after completing one year of college, he decided to leave his beloved land to pursue a six year Medical Program in Poland. This program co nsisted of four years in Poland and two years of clinicals in the U.S. He chose the University of Wisconsin for his residency because of the dedicated staff, excellent facilities and vibrant city. His clinical interests include: sports medicine, preventative medicine, patient education and rehabilitation. Away from the hospital, Kamaldeep enjoys staying active by playing basketball, racquetball and running. He also enjoys watching movies, stand-up comedy and most of all, following the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, Boston Bruins.

  5. James A Neizer MD

    James immigrated from Ghana in 1996. He attended University of Minnesota from 1998-2002 and University of Hartford from 2002-2004. He completed his Master of Health Administration with an emphasis on Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix and was clinical research coordinator at Jerome Green Sjogren Center and John Hopkins medical institutions prior to beginning the UW Residency Program. In addition to extensive interest in general family practice and practice management, James would like to provide comprehensive care to patients through research and education, yet be able to participate fully in health administration issues. James enjoys photography, traveling, soccer and running.
