Wausau Family Medicine
Wausau Family Medicine is located five minutes from Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The clinic serves about 6,000 patients, including:
- New mothers, infants and children
- Young and elderly adults
- Persons living with AIDS
- Type I diabetes patients from a neighboring school for the
visually impaired - Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander families
Facilities include:
- 18 exam rooms
- Resident offices
- Conference rooms and laboratory
- X-ray and surgical areas, all well equipped with diagnostic and treatment tools
In March 2008, the program will open a brand-new family medicine center. The new facility, conveniently located on the campus of Aspirus Wausau Hospital, will include a state-of-the-art clinic and a conference area/learning center.
