Bio
Alice Pulvermacher, MS, is the research program manager for the Implementation Science and Engineering Lab (ISELab) at DFMCH, where she provides strategic planning, management, and results-driven support. She is passionate about fostering cross-unit partnerships, leading diverse teams, and collaborating with faculty, principal investigators, and stakeholders to advance research priorities.
Pulvermacher has over 20 years of experience with UW–Madison and the Universities of Wisconsin where she has been a project manager on complex initiatives. She has provided strategic leadership and operational oversight for research enterprises, with extensive experience managing NIH grants ranging from $2.5M to $10M.
She has experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives in health care and higher education settings and has extensive professional experience of translational research in multiple settings. Some of her projects include collaborating with more than 350 faculty, staff, and administrators for a UW systemwide student success initiative establishing communities of practice networks and serving as an experience leader of multi-state, multi-agency professional development workshops and trainings.
