Urgent Care Centers
A Wisconsin native, Stacy Loerch earned her B.A. in Neurobiology from UW-Madison before moving to Chicago to pursue her medical degree from Rush Medical College. As an undergraduate, Stacy assisted with Parkinson’s disease research and volunteered for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services in Madison, where she answered the crisis line. After graduating, she completed a marine mammal training internship at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida, learning how to train dolphins, otters, and sharks. During medical school, Stacy volunteered with the Boys and Girls club of Chicago, as well as with a summer camp for children living with skin diseases. She has a strong passion for women’s health and obstetrics, which led her to travel to Uganda with an organization called Save the Mothers to learn how pregnancy-related complications may be prevented. She also volunteered with Lifestriders in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a therapeutic riding program for children and adults with special needs. In her spare time, Stacy enjoys feeding the birds, growing orchids, fruits and vegetables, sitting by the fireplace with her Boston terriers, and spending time with friends and family.
