Bio
Ravi S. Hirekatur, MD, MS (he/him/his) is a DFMCH faculty member who provides patient-centered care with a whole health approach. Hirekatur’s interests include ayurveda, Marma therapy acupressure treatment, herbology, herb-drug interactions, and integrative approaches to treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). He teaches Pranayama breathing exercises and Vipassana mindfulness meditation.
