Nicole Bonk, MD

Nicole Bonk grew up grew up in Aurora, Illinois and went to the University of Notre Dame for her bachelors degree. Nicole returned to Illinois for medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She then moved to Wisconsin to attend residency. She is a 2012 graduate of the UW Dept of Family Medicine and Community Health, Madison Residency Program. After residency she initially worked at urgent care and now does primarily inpatient medicine. She became the UW Family Medicine Service director in 2017. She continues to work as a hospitalist at UW Health at The American Center. Her academic interests are in curriculum development and quality improvement within the inpatient setting. Her free time is spent enjoying her growing family.
