Bio
Samantha Sharp, MD (she/her/hers) is a faculty member in DFMCH that loves the full spectrum of family medicine where each day is different. Sharp finds it particularly special to see the children that she has delivered and watch them grow up. She loves the continuity, context, and complexity of her work. Sharp knows that she spends just a few hours with her patients each year and that it is the life they live outside of their clinic time that means the most. She loves caring for the whole person and wants to partner with patients so that they can achieve their goals.
Clinical Interests
Sharp has a passion for public health, including vaccines as one of our most valuable public health assets.
Teaching Interests
Sharp’s teaching interests include medical hypnosis, integrative health, contraceptive counseling, prenatal and obstetric care, gender-affirming care, and headaches.
