Congratulations to Mark Beamsley, MD (Clinical Associate Professor) on being selected as a recipient of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) 2025 Dean’s Teaching Award, honoring outstanding contributions in student education in medical programs. Beamsley serves as the director of medical school education.
Established in 1992, the SMPH Dean’s Teaching Awards are selected by a committee of UW School of Medicine and Public Health faculty and are the medical school’s only peer-selected teaching award. Awardees are selected for excellence in education, extraordinary and sustained dedication and effort on behalf of student education, demonstrated high level of teaching effectiveness, and innovation in education.
