Jeff Huebner, MD, FAAFP

Jeff Huebner, MD, FAAFP was selected as a Milbank Fellow for the 2025-2026 cohort. The Milbank Fellows Program brings together state health policy leaders committed to improving the health of all people in their communities to gain knowledge about improving population health, to expand leadership capacity, and to create connections with a network of colleagues to build leverage for action.

Huebner is a clinical associate professor in the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and the lead medical officer for the Division of Medicaid Services at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. He believes the health individuals and communities can be transformed through health policy partnerships that pay for health and has developed programs for medically tailored meals, lead screening, hypertension, and colorectal cancer screening. Huebner previously served as the medical director for the University of Wisconsin’s Office of Population Health/ACO.
