Allison Couture, DO, MPA

Allison Couture, DO, MPA, has been selected for the Larry A. Green Visiting Scholars Program at the Robert Graham Center. Couture will join the one-month program focused on health policy analysis relevant to primary care and family medicine in May 2026. She will travel to Washington, DC, and work with the center on original research and exploring health policy issues.

Couture is a clinician-educator with a public affairs background and a strong interest in how structural and systemic factors shape health outcomes and clinical interactions. Her scholarly work sits at the intersection of health equity, primary care, and patient-centered communication. Couture received the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Stephen F. Brenton Health Policy Scholar Award in 2019.

The Larry A. Green Visiting Scholars Program is supported by the Pisacano Leadership Foundation, the philanthropic foundation of the American Board of Family Medicine. The Robert Graham Center seeks to improve health care delivery through evidence that brings a primary care perspective to health policy.
