Five University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health faculty have been elected to serve on University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health committees.

The Education Policy and Curriculum Committee serves as an independent body to provide oversight and governance for the undergraduate medical education program.
The Medical School Admissions Committee’s mission is to select a class of exceptional, mission aligned medical students who possess outstanding academic, personal, and professional attributes and hold promise to succeed as clinicians, scientists, educators, and/or leaders.
The Medical Student Promotion and Academic and Academic Review Committee monitors performance of all medical students and reviews medical students who fail to meet academic or professionalism standards.
Participation on UW School of Medicine and Public Health committees is part of shared governance and gives those who serve an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the essential functions of the school while impacting the school’s missions.
