Briana Krewson, DO, MPH
Krewson developed her passion for family medicine while working as a writing tutor and student gardener at Franklin & Marshall College where she discovered the art of deep discussions and preventive medicine. Prior to medical school, Krewson served as a Fulbright Fellow, where she taught English to university students in Rzeszow, Poland. She later pursued her master’s degree in public health at Dartmouth and worked in subarctic Canada at the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research. While in medical school, she furthered her love for family medicine as a director of a student-run clinic in Philadelphia, a founder of a nonprofit dedicated to distributing PPE to healthcare workers during the acute phases of the COVID-19 pandemic, and a researcher on a project working alongside Alaskan native populations as an American Medical Women’s’ Association Anne C. Carter Global Health Fellow.
As a resident, Krewson has generated curriculum for DO and MD residents to gain osteopathic skills, participated in development of a narrative-based medicine conference, written resolutions to advocate for resident-level needs from the ACOFP, and pursued additional training in lifestyle medicine. She remains passionate about supporting health in her community by building long-term relationships with patients at both their healthiest and most vulnerable moments.
