Congratulations to Kjersti Knox, MD (Assistant Clinical Adjunct Professor) on being selected as a recipient of the 2022 SMPH Dean’s Teaching Award, honoring outstanding contributions in student education in medical programs. Dr. Knox serves as the director of the Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health program.
Established in 1992, the SMPH Dean’s Teaching Awards are selected by a committee of UW School of Medicine and Public Health faculty and are the medical school’s only peer-selected teaching award. Awardees are selected for excellence in education, extraordinary and sustained dedication and effort on behalf of student education, demonstrated high level of teaching effectiveness, and innovation in education.
