Congratulations to Yohualli B. Anaya, MD, MPH (Associate Professor, CHS) on being a featured panelist at the 30th Annual Latina Action Day on May 7, 2024. Anaya will join colleagues in Sacramento for a session titled Women’s Health: Maternal Health in Focus. The panel will examine strategies to reduce health disparities affecting communities of color with a focus on maternal health.
Latina Action Day is organized by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to political and economic parity for Latinas through leadership, advocacy, and education. The conference “centers the voices and experiences of Latinas” in California.
