Family Medicine Center

UW Health Fox Valley Family Medicine

UW Health Fox Valley Family Medicine is the Family Medicine Center and the clinic is located in downtown Appleton, approximately halfway between Appleton Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital. Its 7000 patients represent a well-balanced mix of medical concerns, economic and cultural groups, and ages. The clinic's 75 staff members include family medicine faculty, 18 residents, a mid-level clinician, a clinical psychologist, and a health educator.

Features include:

• Over 31,000 square feet;
• 23 exam rooms including an osteopathic manipulation therapy exam table;
• Three special procedure rooms;
• A mental health suite;
• A quiet study area and social area specially designed for resident use;
• Library and health education resource area;
• On-site laboratory and x-ray; and

Resident rotations at AMC include the inpatient medicine teaching service, critical care medicine, surgery, and a variety of electives. AMC's colleague hospital, Theda Clark, in Neenah, is host to the Children's Hospital of Fox Valley, which offers enhanced pediatric and NICU training opportunities.

St. Elizabeth Hospital (SEH)

Resident inpatient rotations at SEH include obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency care, surgery, and numerous electives.

Appleton Health Care Center

• The Appleton Health Care Center is a privately own, comprehensive skilled nursing facility, where second and third year resident physicians see patients.

Brewster Village

• Brewster Village is the Outagamie County skilled nursing facility and the program's teaching nursing home, where 3rd year residents spend two months, rotating through the facility as primary care providers.

Fox Cities Community Health Center
