Dr. Dallas Bogner is appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and provides hospital call coverage. His patient care practice is with the ThedaCare Health System in Neenah.
Dr. Bogner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency at Saint Anthony Family Medicine, Denver, Colorado and practiced in Denver for eight years prior to moving to Neenah. He practices the full spectrum of family medicine, from newborn to adult, and has a strong interest in prenatal care and obstetrics. Dr. Bogner is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Bogner is married with two children. He enjoys many activities including tennis, running and spending time with his family.

Mrs. Boogaard joined the program in 1988. She earned her masters degree in counseling at UW-Oshkosh in 1999 and her undergraduate degree in health education from UW-La Crosse. She has experience in stress management, nutrition and exercise, parenting education, and specialized training in smoking cessation. Ms. Boogaard is an outstanding resource in health promition, disease prevention and patient education.

Dr. Timothy Culligan is appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and provides hospital call coverage. His patient care practice is with the Kaukauna Clinic.
Dr. Culligan is a 2002 graduate of the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He received his medical degree from Loyola University School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois in 1999. Professional interests include obstetrics, pediatrics, adult medicine, dermatology, smoking cessation, and office procedures. Professional memberships include American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Ms. Emer has a bachelor of arts degree from St. Norbert College, DePere, Wisconsin, and a background in education, health care public relations and marketing. Ms. Emer focuses on outreach activities including marketing, publications, fund raising, resident and faculty recruitment and special events coordination.

Kathleen joined the Fox Valley program in August of 2008. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been working as a Physician Assistant since 2000. Most of her clinical experience has been in Family Medicine as well as Psychiatry. Her professional interests include Integrative Medicine, Women's Health and Wellness, and stress related conditions such as depression and anxiety. She appreciates the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages.
She obtained her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Arlington; a Master's Degree of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Oklahoma, and her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. Kathleen is a recent transplant from Oklahoma and is very happy to be in Wisconsin. She is married and has a son. Her hobbies are varied and ever changing and she enjoys the company of friends and family.

Jennifer Ewen Frank, M.D., F.A.A.F.P., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She joined the faculty in July, 2006, after seven years on active duty in the US Army as a family physician. She spent 4 years as a faculty member in the Fort Benning Family Medicine Residency Program in Georgia. Her clinical and research interests include women«««s health, obstetrics, chronic disease management, hypertension, and practice management.

Kimberly Goffard, MBA/HCM, RN, Education Coordinator, joined the Fox Valley Program on July 9th, 2007. Kimberly earned her BS in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and her MBA with Health Care Management emphasis through the University of Phoenix-Fox Valley campus. Kimberly brings 14 years of healthcare experiences to the Fox Valley Program. Kimberly and her spouse Dan, have three boys ages 9, 7 and 4 and she enjoys dancing, traveling, and cheering for her sons at their sporting events.

Dr. Graunke is Board Certified in Family Medicine and received his medical degree in 1992 from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency in family medicine at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland, Michigan in 1995. Professional interests include obstetrics, sports medicine, smoking cessation, geriatrics, and newborn and pediatric medicine. Professional memberships include American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society.
Dr. Graunke is married with two children and community involvement includes teaching Sunday school and being a youth leader in his church. Personal interests include basketball, skiing, golf and family activities.

Nathan Grunwald, MD, is appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and provides hospital call coverage. His patient care practice is with the ThedaCare Health System in Menasha.
Dr. Grunwald is a native of Neenah, Wisconsin. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee after graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Nathan specializes in family medicine with a focus on obstetrics, women’s health, child and adolescent care and sports medicine. His residency program at Waukesha Family Medicine Practice provided him with a solid background in family medicine and minor surgery and procedures. Nathan is certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program - the American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics – American Academy of Family Physicians, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.

Dr. Johnson is a 1989 graduate of the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry form St. Olaf College of Minnesota and his medical degree from University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1986. Professional interests include all aspects of family medicine with special interest in obstetrics, pediatrics, sports medicine, adult care and wellness. Professional memberships include American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society.
Dr. Johnson is married with two children. His community involvement includes providing medical services to athletic programs in the Kaukauna School District. Personal interests include family, church, scouting, sports and music.

Gina has been a Physician Assistant since 1999 with experience in Primary and Acute care settings. She also has an interest in Integrative and Preventative Medicine, Women’s Health, and specialty procedures such as acute wound management, fracture care and performing dermatologic procedures.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in PA studies from Midwestern University, Downer’s Grove, IL and Masters Degree in PA studies from University of Nebraska Medical Center with Primary Care emphasis. She enjoys working in the academic environment of UW Health, where there is continued learning. Obtaining further education in Alternative/ Integrative medicine is one of her future goals. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is current in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Gina is married and has 3 children. Her hobbies include spending time with family, camping, exercise, music, and travel.

Dr. Marnocha joined the Fox Valley program in July 1996. Dr. Marnocha is a licensed clinical psychologist. He earned his MS and PhD in Psychology from Purdue University and completed his internship in Health-Care Psychology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. His special interests include medical humanities, addiction treatment, PTSD, and EBM. Dr. Marnocha helps teach the behavioral science curriculum and performs patient consultations for emotional and psychological issues.

Dr. Elisabeth L. Righter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She joined the faculty in September of 2007, after ten years of residency work in Ohio and five years of practice. She received her M.D. at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton. Her work experiences included urgent care, emergency room, occupational medicine and family medicine practices in Maui, Hawaii and Cleveland, Ohio. She is proud to have mentored residents in research projects. She was named Family Medicine Attending of the Year in 2002. Dr. Righter was a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians Committee on Special Constituencies for three years. Dr. Righter served as President of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians in 2005-2006. Her clinical interests are pregnancy care and procedures. Her research and teaching interests include clinical-decision making and cultural proficiency.

Dr. Russo is a 1990 graduate of the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and he is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern Illinois, Springfield, Illinois. Professional interests include obstetrics and office procedures. Dr. Russo enjoys teaching medical students and residents. Professional memberships include American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society.
Dr. Russo is married with four children and is actively involved in community endeavors and missionary work in Central America. Personal interests include fishing, camping, woodworking, auto repair and vegetable gardening. Dr. Russo received a Master of Science Degree in Forestry from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Illinois in 1982.

Dr. Schoening graduated from the University of Wisconsin Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in 2000 and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1997. Professional interests include obstetrics, pediatrics and women’s health. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society. Dr. Schoening is married with two children and her personal interests include reading, gardening, and family activities.

Dr. Schultz joined our faculty after graduating from the program in 1995. She is a native of Wisconsin and a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Schultz's areas of expertise and interest are in geriatrics, preventive medicine and domestic violence. She coordinates the geriatric curriculum with Dr. Lee Vogel, providing teaching and patient care in the long-term care setting.

Dr. Vogel joined our program in 1990. She is a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her family practice residency and a fellowship in geriatrics at the University of California, San Diego. She was also on the faculty for two years at UCSD before coming to Appleton. Besides her broad base of clinical family medicine knowledge, Dr. Vogel has a strong interest in teaching geriatrics to residents in the office and nursing home settings. Other areas of expertise include medical ethics and health care promotion. She became program director in July 1995.

Dr. Werner is a 2006 graduate of the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He received a BS in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Professional interests include diabetes, geriatrics, obstetrics, sports medicine and office procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society. Dr. Werner is married with two children and enjoys sports, travel, history and reading.
