Ildi Martonffy, MD
Director, Wisconsin Rural Physician Residency Assistance Program
Ildi Martonffy, MD learned she was no longer a “flat-lander” when she came to Madison for her residency after completing medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago following her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Chicago. She finished residency in 2005 and then worked at the Beloit Area Community Health Center in Beloit, Wisconsin for almost five years before returning to Wingra Clinic as faculty. She has a particular interest in working with the underserved as well as in helping patients with breastfeeding. Ildi took over as residency program director in March of 2017. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and specializes in signing up for (and completing!) athletic events she has no business doing.
