Cj Smith became Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program Director in 2014 and Family Medicine Physician within SSM Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI in 2007.

Joy Ryland is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Dr. Ryland went on to complete her residency in family medicine at SSM Health Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI. Within primary care, Dr. Ryland has special interest in osteopathic manipulation therapy, preventive care and women’s health with an OB focus. Prior to completing medical school, Dr. Ryland served on her local fire department as an EMT for five years.

Eli BurksEli Burks, MD, MBA

Hospitalist

Eli Burks is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Basseterre, St. Kitts. Dr. Burks went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Lincoln Medical Education Partnership in Lincoln, NE and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. As a hospitalist, Dr. Burks serves the medical needs of patients during their hospital stay and coordinates all the members of the patient’s healthcare team. Fun fact: Dr. Burks won the world powerlifting championships in Sweden in 2019!

Lindsay GeierLindsay Geier, MD

Pediatrics

Lindsay Geier is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She earned her medical degree from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI. Dr. Geier went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. As a pediatrician, she provides care for children from birth through young adulthood and emphasizes the importance of preventative care and patient education. Outside of work, Dr. Geier is very active in her efforts to raise awareness and funds for neurofibromatosis and neurofibromatosis research.
