About the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG)
The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) is a student-run organization with both Department of Family Medicine and American Academy of Family Medicine support. The organization is structured to give medical students with an interest in family medicine a supportive environment in which to explore and experience the specialty.
The FMIG is a terrific way to meet other students interested in family and community health, learn clinical skills, have some fun, and develop personal relationships with our award-winning faculty. FMIG offers a variety of noon time talks, workshops, social events and virtual resources to meet your needs.
