The University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Cottage Grove Clinic, located in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, seeks a Clinical Physician. This is the place to practice family medicine in a strong primary care community.

Job Responsibilities:

The UW Health Cottage Grove Clinic is interested in a Family Medicine physician to join the clinic and provide the full spectrum of family medicine skills and patient care. This position will also be involved in clinical teaching of medical students and other learners.

Duties will include provision of clinical care of patients, obstetrics/maternity care as an option as part of practice, clinical teaching/supervision of medical students and other learners, participation in clinical faculty call schedule (phone call only), OB call and newborn rounding (if applicable, shared OB call group), nursing home visits, departmental meetings, and performing administrative duties as necessary in the position.

The preferred candidate will either have experience teaching and working with a diverse population, or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with a diverse population. 

Anticipated start date: Fall 2022 or 2023.

Requirements:
MD/DO
Wisconsin medical license is required prior to start date.
Certified by or eligible for certification by the American Board of Family Medicine
