Urgent Care Centers
Ana Pearson, MD (she/her), hails from Hudson, WI. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She also completed her residency training at UW with the DFMCH Family Medicine Residency Program in Madison. She was drawn to Addiction Medicine after seeing how impactful treatment of substance use disorders can be for a patient’s life and overall health. As a clinician, it felt challenging to address other chronic health conditions without also being able to treat substance use disorders. She is pursuing the fellowship to develop Addiction specialty expertise to be able to provide Addiction care in the primary care setting. She is particularly interested in pregnancy- and newborn-related care. In her life outside of work, Ana can be found gardening, cooking and baking, learning about film, watching Survivor, and reading good books.
