Great news: the national rankings are in, and yet again, the DFMCH is 5th among family medicine departments in the nation – tied with the University of Colorado – according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best Medical School rankings. (Complete rankings here)
In addition, the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) ranked 6th for rural medicine, in a tie with East Tennessee State University and the University of Vermont. (Complete rankings here)
The SMPH also ranked in the top ten for primary care and in the top 30 for research.
