Dennis P. Breen, MD was the recipient of the 2007 Marc Hansen Lecturer Award. This award is presented to faculty who have contributed substantially to the education of students and residents, or who have made an important scholarly contribution to the academic discipline of Family Medicine.

Ann Evensen, MD was awarded the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians at the AAFP National Scientific Assembly in Chicago.

Terri Kulie, MD was named the UWSMPH Faculty Counselor of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (a National Medical Honor Society).
