Welcome Mike Wilson, the DFM New Purchasing Representative

Mike Wilson has joined the Department of Family Medicine as our new Purchasing Representative. Mike's office is in room 2833 of Alumni Hall in Madison. Mike has been with the University of Wisconsin since 1989 and has performed purchasing, stockroom management and fiscal management during this time, including seven years with the Chemistry Department. We are fortunate to have recruited someone with such a strong background.

Although he loves purchasing, Mike's true passion is golf. He makes a point to play 15 to 20 courses in our region each year. His motto for golf, life, and work is "keep your head down and swing through." Mike claims to be eccentric, but is approximately on par with the rest of the Department. His other interests are horseshoes and bowling. Mike has hit a hole in one and bowled two perfect 300 games. Mike has lived in Verona for 18 years with his best friend, Onyx, a black lab mix.
